Wine tour in Côte de Nuits

“From Corton to Chambertin” is a wine tour in Côte de Nuits with a tasting of 6 grands cru and premiers crus.

With the wine tour “From Corton to Chambertin”, we will show you the fascinating world of 1er and grand cru red wines of the Côte de Nuits. Sensation Vin has created this itinerant tasting exclusively for two people.

Every day (except Saturday), we will take you for 2 hours of itinerant tasting into the heart of the vineyards. Travelling in our Wrangler Jeep, you will experience the wines of Burgundy in prestigious surroundings. Two tasting stops in the heart of the great burgundian appellations await you in Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. As we drive through the different tracks, with the finest panoramic views over the vineyards, we will talk about oenology, the vegetative cycle, and the work in the vines; we will observe the implantation of the vines and the appellations in situ.

Between Corton and Chambertin you will taste 6 red wines, 4 1er cru wines and 2 grand cru wines. You will enjoy, without any doubt, unforgettable moments whilst tasting a Clos Vougeot Grand Cru whilst looking at the very vines from which it comes.

Wine tour in Côte de Nuits step by step

Depart Beaune aboard our Jeep Wrangler (4×4). The first stop is in Vosne-Romanée where we view the entire Côte de Nuits to Dijon and the localization of different grands crus from Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. From the top of the hill we have a view of La Tâche, La Grande Rue, La Romanée, Romanée-Conti, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Richebourg, Echezeaux, Grands-Echezeaux, Clos de Vougeot and its castle. Tasting a Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru Clos de Thorey, a Vosne-Romanée 1er cru les Petits Monts, and a Clos Vougeot Grand Cru.

We continue our exploration with the villages of Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, accompanied by a Morey-Saint-Denis 1er cru Les Millandes, a Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru les Charmes and a Bonnes Mares Grand Cru.

Back to Beaune by the D974 by the different villages mentioned.

Each tasting stop is an opportunity to immerse oneself in the position and characteristics of vineyard plots classified as premier cru or grand cru, to study the vine, the grapes, different cultivation techniques (maintenance, pruning, treatments…) while improving your tasting technique.
